Louise Tchalik, violin

Louise Tchalik began studying the violin at an early age, first with Elina Kuperman, then with Alexandre Brussilovsky, Amaury Coeytaux and Stéphanie-Marie Degand at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in 2018.

Deeply influenced by literature, visual arts and architecture, she also studied art history at the École du Louvre, an experience that continues to shape her musical imagination. She is equally passionate about sailing and wide-open landscapes.

Second violin of the Tchalik Quartet, a family ensemble of four siblings, she performs on major international stages such as the Philharmonie de Paris, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Mozarteum Salzburg, and the Philharmonies of Cologne and Dresden. The quartet records extensively for its own label, Alkonost Classic, with acclaimed albums devoted to Escaich, Saint-Saëns and Reynaldo Hahn.
